Memphis: “BLACK SOAP REMIX I” STAGE PLAY SHOWCASES GOSPEL GREAT VICKIE WINANS – MAY 15TH AT THE CANNON CENTER

vickieAward-winning, nationally-recognized gospel singer Vickie Winans will perform in the first of this season’s two shows for Flo Roach’s BLACK SOAP soap opera plays.

A 2-hour compilation the 2013 season of Memphis’s  own BLACK SOAP soap opera plays — BLACK SOAP EPISODES I, II, III tell the story of  young couple who discovered the possibility that they might be related with all the accompanying drama, uncertainty, laughter, and surprises written, produced and directed by Flo Roach with music sung by Miss Winans.

Presented by Ettaro Fine Arts Foundation and Ettaro Theater Company, BLACK SOAP REMIX I which is a compilation of the three-part opening season — Episodes I, II and III — in 2013, will be presented live on stage Sunday, May 15, 2016, 3:00 p.m. at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts, 255 North Main (38103).  Show tickets are $35 for General Admission and $50 for VIP tickets, which include reserved seating and a 1:30 p.m. reception with food and drinks.
