Wunderman announced the appointment of Judy Jackson as Global Chief Talent Officer. Reporting to Mark Read, Wunderman’s Global CEO, Jackson will lead the agency’s global talent group and focus on recruiting, developing and retaining the best creative, data and strategic talent around the world.

“I am delighted to have Judy joining to lead Wunderman’s talent group,” said Read. “Her experience and enthusiasm is exactly what we need to ensure Wunderman is a great place for our people to work and that our people are proud of working for Wunderman. She’s a tremendous asset to the team and we’re excited to see her ideas unfold.”

Jackson rejoins Wunderman from IPG Mediabrands where she served as Chief Talent Officer for North America and was responsible for building up the HR capability encompassing the full talent suite of Recruiting, Compensation, HRIS, Learning, Development, Diversity and Inclusion. Jackson also led talent programs and new initiatives across all brands including UM, Initiative, Orion, and more.
Prior to IPG Mediabrands, Jackson was Chief Talent Officer for Digitas Worldwide, where, among her many accomplishments, she drove its Diversity and Inclusion Program and earned the agency over 20 Best Places to Work recognitions.

Throughout her career, Jackson has held HR leadership roles with ABC TV, Essence Communications, BBDO and Planned Parenthood. In addition to her HR roles, Jackson has a long list of published articles and is a well respected thought leader on talent management. In her spare time she also serves as an advisor to the Harlem YMCA’s Black Achievers Program.

“There is something really exciting happening at Wunderman,” said Jackson. “There’s a tremendous amount of energy being put behind HR and building the global teams into powerhouse groups who deliver absolutely incredible work. This next year will be hugely transformational as a result – that momentum is why I came back after all of these years. I’m looking forward to helping Mark and the rest of the team realize their vision for talent and culture, across the network.”
