The first complete collection specifically designed for women who wear weaves, braids, locs, extensions, wigs, headwraps etc. over their natural hair or while transitioning from chemical styles.   Taliah Waajid Protective Styles is designed to care for the hair underneath these styles—one’s own hair. These are called Protective Styles, which refer to extension, weave and wig wear. This marks a step forward for the Taliah Waajid brand and the natural hair movement overall, as this is the first complete regimen of products that speak directly to the needs of extension and wig wear, known as protective styles. These products are now available at mass stores created specifically for protective styles, designed to aid in the strengthening, conditioning, repair and overall care for ones hair before, during and after wearing a protective style. While much of the discussion around natural hair has focused on caring for curly or coily hair, the Taliah Waajid Protective Styles Collection offers specific hair care regimens to care for and maintain healthy hair and scalp when choosing to wear protective styles.
Created with the unique SciNatranol™ complex, each product is infused with the benefits of bamboo, basil and biotin, which have moisturizing, strengthening and anti-septic and anti-bacterial properties to help promote scalp and hair health and growth.
