“What’s Eating Harlem” host Paul Phillips talks with fast-rising singer songwriter Shelea at the Gran Piatto D’oro, one of Harlem’s finest Italian restaurants. She recently showcased her new album “Love Fell on Me at the restaurant.
“Love Fell on Me” showcases a classic blend of soul, R&B, and jazz, and permeates the true essence of romance. The album boasts production from the legendary Narada Michael Walden (Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross), together they co-wrote and co-produced the song “Have I Ever Told You.”
The album also features multi-platinum selling R&B singer, songwriter, producer Brian McKnight on “Can’t Play It Cool” and the iconic Stevie Wonder on harmonica for the title track “Love Fell On Me,” a song which was chosen as the musical theme for the film Jumping the Broom (Angela Bassett, Paula Patton, Mike Epps).
