The Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations is responsible for providing strategic, coordinated, organizational, and results-driven leadership to increase immediate and long-term support of Bay Path College. The Director’s primary responsibilities will be to create and execute comprehensive, multi-year annual giving and alumni relations plans that will result in substantial revenue growth and alumni engagement. The college has a vibrant and diverse alumni pool that has enormous potential contingent upon an entrepreneurial and aggressive plan, led by this new position. Successful leadership of the function and the team will result in engagement of new donors, increased participation of all constituents (with alumni being the priority), and yearly revenue growth in unrestricted gifts. The Director will also manage a personal portfolio of donors.

Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree is required; master’s degree is preferred. Candidates will have a minimum of five years of progressively responsible development experience, preferably in higher education fund-raising, including a strong documented record of gift solicitation and volunteer management. As a team leader, this individual will have the skills to directly motivate, develop and educate professional and support staff. Demonstrated ability to design, implement and evaluate a comprehensive nationwide program for annual gifts, establishing goals and objectives that translate into annual operating plans and appropriate staff assignments is essential.
