Classes include introductory courses in ABA, courses in measurement, assessment, and behavioral methodologies. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 
Maintain an annual teaching load of six courses (18 credits) annually with courses taught in Longmeadow, Burlington, and CMC. Might be required to teach at all campuses and other off-site programs. Must be willing to teach online and with various teaching formats (i.e. week-ends, week nights);Prepare course materials such as syllabi, presentation materials, guided notes, reading lists, and assignments descriptions;Develop courses that align with BACB® course requirements and best practice in the field of ABAMaintain course and curriculum relevance through research related to courses taught;Define student learning outcomes;Establish fair grading criteria;Provide students with opportunities to provide feedback on the class before end-of-semester evaluationUse formative summative evaluations to improve course design and deliveryCreate a high level of opportunities for active student responding and active learning;Select appropriate textbooks and materials required for each course;Maintain appropriate standards of behavior, mutual respect, and safety in the classroom;Communicate a positive attitude toward teaching and administrative responsibilities;Maintain scheduled office hours as articulated in the Faculty Handbook;Attend faculty, departmental, school meetings which will be held across sites;Assist admissions office with student recruitment activities as requested;Maintain an active presence on the campus including attendance at all major institutional events (e.g. Commencement, Convocation) and student events;Provide assistance for grants or other fundraising efforts as requested;Stay current with best practices in teaching and learning effectiveness;Incorporate technology to enhance student learning;Actively assess student learning according to program and course learning outcomes.Respect students’ diversity and points of view;Participate in professional development and scholarly activities in the field of applied behavior analysis;Willing to undertake grant writing activities;Willing to advise undergraduate and graduate at different locations.Develop and oversee a supervision experience for candidates enrolled in the ABA program (responsibilities detailed below);Update CANVAS site for supervision; post information about supervision as necessaryRecruit supervisors for all BPC ABA locationsAssist in training supervisors on Bay Path policies and procedures re: supervision (supervision orientation, as needed)Update supervision manual and feedback forms, according to departmental and BACB standards and policiesDevelop a semester-by-semester course outline for 4 semesters of supervisionUpdate set of guidelines for conducting a supervision session for trainingMonitor list of recommended resources for supervisionAssist supervisors and supervisees in the event of needed support (on-going, as needed)Arrange for back-up supervision arrangements in the event of program dissatisfaction, unsuccessful pairings (as needed)Access resources needed for supervision when requested by supervisors (as needed)Gather supervisor paperwork at the end of each semester; review for compliance, submit to student filesMonitor all supervision grades for ABA across sites each semester and follow-up with letters as neededAdjust supervision program to align with changing guidelines from the BACBAssist students with completion of BACB examination applicationsSeek and develop partnerships with organizations providing ABA services that would offer opportunities for intensive practicum settings for graduate students in ABA; Qualifications: Terminal degree (Ed.D, Ph.D, or Psy.D) in ABA,   psychology, or a closely related field and be certified in applied behavior   analysis (BCBA). Candidates should have knowledge of the requirements   published by the BACB for credentialing as a behavior analyst and should have   significant experience providing supervision to individuals seeking   certification. Candidates should have extensive teaching experience, minimum   of 5 years at the college level predominantly at the graduate level in ABA,   psychology, or special education, and have a history of applying behavioral   strategies in their teaching in higher education. Experience developing and   teaching on-line classes is preferred. A variety of clinical and educational   positions with a minimum of 5-10 years of provision of ABA services is also   required.   Criminal background check required.
