This position is responsible for data entry and managing incoming communications into the admissions department including mail, electronic inquiries and telephone calls and general office management. Position serves as primary person answering phones on behalf of admissions with goals of providing excellent customer service; sharing accurate and timely information to prospective students and their families, as well as other callers; convert calls from prospective students into inquires, conversations with admissions counselors and campus visits. Manage all data entry and correspondence to inquiries, process application materials and required forms and assist in generation of statistical data for daily, weekly and monthly reports, as well as other reports which help track recruitment initiatives. Open mail daily and distribute, assist with implementation of the mail flow, assist with phone coverage.

Qualifications: Associate’s degree required with a minimum of 1-2 years administrative assistant experience preferable in higher education. Qualified candidates must be able to work with confidential material with integrity and discretion and effectively prioritize responsibilities and adhere to deadlines. Applicants must have excellent organization, verbal and written communication skills, and be extremely detail oriented. Candidates must have strong computer skills including Word, Excel, database and web experience. Candidates must be able and willing to work flexible schedule during peak times.
