FacebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmailPosition is responsible for the creation and execution of annual giving strategies for Bay Path’s non-traditional alumni constituencies, in support of overall goals of increased alumni participation and revenue for the Office of Annual Giving & Alumni Relations. Major areas of responsibility include the management of a portfolio of donors and prospects; coordination of direct mail, phone, and social media outreach for alumni constituencies; and the management of alumni volunteers to support fundraising goals.

Work with Director of Annual Giving & Alumni Relations to establish targets and oversee fundraising goals and strategies for Bay Path’s non-traditional adult women populations. Maintain a portfolio of a minimum of 200 donors and prospects. Work with the Director to implement creative direct mail, social media, and phone strategies for non-traditional alumni in accordance with the overall Annual Giving & Alumni Relations plan. Launch a re-envisioned volunteer structure to support the outreach, engagement, and solicitation of non-traditional alumni; including the recruitment and training of alumni volunteers. Oversee and support the activities of the One-Day committee of the Alumni Association Council. Work in partnership with Stewardship & Leadership Giving team to help identify major gift prospects. Collaborate with program faculty and student support services on engagement strategies for non-traditional alumni. This may include attendance at programs and classes held on Saturdays. Assist in the creation of marketing materials to support annual fund efforts. Track and report results of programs and initiatives to the Director of Annual Giving & Alumni Relations on a regular basis.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required. Applicants must have excellent oral, written, interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as editing and presentation skills. Annual Fund and individual solicitation experience required along with command of basic fundraising principles. Strong initiative, a high energy level, demonstrated ability to motivate people, and creativity are essential. The ability to responsibly handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion is critical. Ability and willingness to travel and work flexible and extended schedule including weekends, evenings and overnight. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs, relational databases and data management software is required. Working knowledge of Jenzabar helpful. Must have valid driver’s license and successfully pass the online Defensive Driving Course and driving record check at time of hire and annually thereafter.
