This part-time position serves as the supervisor of the student worker telephone counseling center for admissions and enrollment management. He/she ensures counselors are productive, logging critical information gathered from prospective students with accuracy, and disseminating important information and messages. The supervisor is also responsibility for training counselors and being an effective role model for calling center skills and abilities.
Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s degree; strong telephone demeanor and competencies, excellent oral, written and proof reading skills required. Must demonstrate ability to meet goals and deadlines, manage multiple assignments with excellent follow up skills, report and interpret statistical data and make recommendations and projections. Applicants must have ability to develop relationships with people of different ages, genders, and backgrounds. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, email and demonstrated web searching skills required. Must have valid driver’s license and be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and some weekends.
