This critical position is responsible for supporting the efficient day-to-day internal office functions for three School of Education graduate programs (Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Developmental Psychology) and two undergraduate programs. Basic data entry, general clerical tasks and management of communication and mail flow. Receive telephone calls, take and deliver messages, and return calls as requested; initiate/receive faxes as requested. Assist students in the admissions process. Work with supervisor to coordinate and plan information sessions, open houses, and all details related to meetings and events.
Qualifications: Associate’s degree in related field or business school required. Excellent clerical skills and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Candidates must have experience developing reports using a relational database, Jenzabar desirable. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, ability to work independently and effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities and adhere to deadlines. Applicants must be willing to work occasional week nights and Saturdays and able to travel to off-site programs as necessary. Valid driver’s license and Criminal background check required.
