The Proteus Fund seeks two full-time members of the Partnership Team:
The MGO will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive individual donor program in coordination with our funder collaborative model of philanthropy. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage an individual donor system that serves the deep philanthropic needs of donors and transformational grassroots activism. The OFP is essentially the director of development for the Piper Fund, the Proteus program leading our money in politics work. The OFP will create and lead the overall partnership engagement plan and be primarily responsible for all foundation relations. Candidates need top level project management skills, extensive grant-writing experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of public policy and advocacy strongly preferred. Qualified candidates for both positions will hold a bachelor’s degree with seven to nine years successful experience in fundraising. The organization strongly prefers candidates who can work out of its office in Amherst, MA, but outstanding candidates based in other parts of the state or country will be considered.
