Seattle-based filmmaker Eliaichi “Ellie” Kimaro, a first-generation American with a Tanzanian father and Korean mother, explores her identity and heritage in her film, “A Lot Like You.” On October 13 at 5pm, “A Lot Like You” will be screened as part of the Reel Sisters of the Diaspora Film Festival and Lecture Series (www.reelsisters.com) highlighting women of color in the film industry.
