This full time, 10-month position, August through May, is responsible for the development and implementation for the care and prevention of athletic injuries. Provide or coordinate sports medicine coverage for athletic contests and practices. Assist in the promotion of health and physical well-being of Athletic Program participants with regard to first aid treatment, injury prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation. Provide treatment and rehabilitation for student athletes. Maintain detailed records for all intercollegiate sports injuries. Provide necessary programming on student-welfare and drug and alcohol programs.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. Candidates must have working knowledge of NCAA, NECC rules. Applicants must be certified in athletic training by the NATABOC, licensed or eligible for licensing as Athletic Trainer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and have current CPR certification. Driver’s license preferred but not mandatory. Must be available to travel and work non-traditional hours.
