As the students move into the
elementary school, opportunities
are frequent to express, collaborate,
create, ask questions, perform
dramatic roles, connect, risk and
even teach. Whether it is our sixth
graders teaching the fourth grade
students how to use Edmodo, or
observing our fifth grade students
teach photosynthesis to our
kindergarteners in Science,
watching fourth graders read
selections from their journals to
parents during an Author Breakfast,
viewing an iMovie created by
students to promote their service
project, watching our third graders
perform a play they wrote together,
or listening to a student pray from
his or her heart over the
loudspeaker in the morning,
confidence is nurtured and
developed in multiple ways.

At Park Street School and Park
Street Kids, we recognize that each
student is created by God uniquely,
with individual voices, stories and
personalities. Our student body is
diverse – not only because our
students might come from different
neighborhoods or even different
countries ­ but because each of our
305 students is not like another.
Each student is wholly unique,
beautiful in his or her entirety, and
full of potential! The confidence that
is built is also unique. What a
privilege it is to nurture and
encourage such students to grow
into creative, thoughtful, respectful,
contributing global citizens of
character, independence, and full of
confidence and courage.
