3 Congrats and thank you to
Springfield's Visionary Club. It
4 started as a support club for the blind
and visually impaired, but realized

23through supporting each other we

could encourage independence of its
members ­­ no matter what
disability. In the midst of living with
disabilities, they continue to meet
and help others in the community.
As a Club, they have supported many
organizations including the Ronald
McDonald House, Shriners Hospital,
the Dakin Animal Shelter, Red Cross,
Friends of the Homeless, victims of
tornado disaster in 2011 and children
in schools local to Springfield. They
are always looking for ways to expand
their work in the community. Stay
tuned for the Club's holiday
activities!
